(Got to be good value as well. ) In the UK)
I’ve previously had a simple, bar-ed cage, with two levels.

I’m from the US so i’m not sure but i found a UK pet website and here’s some cages that look good.http://www.pawsdirect.co.uk/product_info…
it’s a little expensive but great. I use it for a dwarf hamster right now, but it would be good for a syrian as well. http://www.pawsdirect.co.uk/product_info…
This one is good- I have it. Only i got mine for $2 off ebay.
This one looks good. I have one like it at home. http://www.pawsdirect.co.uk/product_info…
This one looks good as well.http://www.pawsdirect.co.uk/product_info…
This one looks good too. http://www.pawsdirect.co.uk/product_info…
I’ve got one like this at home. looks like a good cage.http://www.pawsdirect.co.uk/product_info…
I’ve got this exact cage at home. It works great and there is plenty of room in there.http://www.pawsdirect.co.uk/product_info…
This cage is nice and inexpensive compared to others. I have 2 of these at home and they work good.
i hope i helped. The one you have sounds good too.
if you still have the cage, no problem, get another cage, and you can connect the two by means of tunnels to each other, then your hamster will have more room to explore. however, some hamsters will spend time gnawing away in one corner or bar, regardless of how big the cage is, so really it is up to those hamsters whether they will use the space provided or not.
cheers.
Hello,
Yes, The cage you had sounds like it would work. Petsmart carries a large variatey of syrian Hamsters and I am pretty sure cages too. If you ask a Pet smart crew member while there he should be able to get you what you want. Or you can try http://www.petsmart.com if there is not a local petsmart near you.
I hope I helped and God Bless,
Daniel

well, your cage seems good, but i prefer a simple 10 0r 20 gallon aquarium.
my only issue with bar-ed cages is that syrians have a habit of gnawing on the bars, and its annoying when you need to sleep.
best cages for hamsters are bin cages!
1. they are affordable
2.varies from sizes
3. can be bought almost anywhere
4. won’t make as much noises as bared cages
5. you can decorate it as you wish
Get a 10 gallon tank and top at petco for $21.00 and a wheel and hanging aquarium water bottle for $6.00 each.
Total: $32:00
Cheaper than a plastic cage that will get chewed through and be hard to clean.
A ten gallon tank works well, a cage works well too, Some rodents like cages because they can climb,
Go to pets at home,http://www.petsathome.com/shop/small-pet…
Definetly get rotoastak cages they are the best and good quality!
10 Gallon Fish Tank! Only around 14-17 dollars in pet co.
