What Is The Relationship Between A Gerbil, A Degu, And A Guinea Pig?

They all seem to be genetically linked. I can’t find out how, though. Could anyone please tell me? I’d appreciate the help a lot. And please don’t say that they’re all rodents, I know that but it doesn’t help me at all!

They are linked in they’re all rodents, like you said. However, the gerbil is from a different continent and probably about as closely connected as a coyote and african wild dog. The degu and guinea pig are from roughly the same area and are more likely to have developed from the same basic stock.
Gerbils are like a smaller version of a degu.
iunno hwo the hell you got guinea pig form, their completely different
Gerbils are not related to degus and guinea pigs at all, other than all being rodents. You can think of the degu family (Octodontidae) and the gerbil family (Muridae) as being separate and unrelated families of rodents. However, the degu family and the chinchilla family (Chinchillidae) AND the guinea pig family (Caviidae) are closely related and all belong to a parvorder called Caviomorpha. (a parvorder is just a grouping of related families)
Gerbils are as related to degus as they are to squirrels (family Sciuridae) or to beavers (family Castoridae).
