My gerbils destroy plastic water bottles as soon as I put them in. However, they don’t like water bottles made out of any other material!
What should I do?

I’m building a hamster cage, out of wood. Is there a way to safely water proof the wood so my hamsters don’t get sick. If I do that, how long should I wait to put my hamsters in the cage?

The pet shop says use a pet safe disinfectant to clean the cage – what would you recommend (I am in the UK so any UK products you could recommend please).
Is fairy liquid safe?

I’ve lost my hamster. I don’t know how long he has been gone. It COULD be close to 2 weeks by Saturday, but I’m not entirely sure because I have a very bad memory and can’t remember for sure the last time that I saw him. I have a humane trap set where he could be with food and water in it. I’m having a hard time finding hope that he is still ok. But if anyone could give me some figures as to how long they can go without, I would greatly appreciate it.

I did not know i couldn’t give a Gerbil a bath in water so will they get really sick or something?

Ever since I got my dwarf hamster, he’s been drinking a lot of water. He drinks more than he has to. Because he drinks a lot, there’s been so much urine in one area of the hamster cage (he pees in one spot all the time). Then I have to clean the cage more often. Can anybody help me?

I just purchased a Hamster cage by Super Pet along with a fancy dwarf hamster tonight. I am unsure how to set up the water bottle which came with it since it does not have the instructions and I am a first time hamster owner. How do you attach the water bottle which came with it to the cage? Please help.
