my other neighbors ‘s little girl’s pet Gerbil’s for two weeks while they were away on vacation.
Upon arriving home the two gerbils were found dead due to neglect. My question is, what is the legal responsibility here. The neighbor agreed to go to the pet store and replace the gerbils, is there any other liability here other than that?
The little girl wants to have a pet viewing, a funeral and a pet cemetery burial. Plus she wants the other neighbor to pay for it. What are the responsibilities here, what about pain and suffering?

my gerbil baby broke her back legs i am wonder how long it takes for her to beable to walk them and her one eye is closed and i do not know why and why would the mother fight with her we had to remove her to a tank so they did not fight anymore pls help me.

Different vets charge different prices for visits, so the actual cost of the visit can vary quite widely. You should call and ask a few vets in your area what they charge for exotic appointments. Some places charge less for small animals, and others charge more. I’ve paid 30 bucks for a visit and I’ve paid 50. It just depends.
I’m not sure what meds they’ll give your gerbil since he’s so young, but they usually aren’t too much money, 20 to 30 bucks or so.
Best bet is to call them and ask. :) Good luck with your gerbil!

How Much Does It Take To Put A Hamster Down?

I can’t afford to fix my hamster. =(
She has a giant cancerous tumor on her face and basically everything is going wrong with her.
I don’t want to wake up one morning and find her stiff and dead in her cage.
Does anybody know how much it will cost me to put her out of her misery and take her to the vet to be put to sleep? Including all costs?

How Long Does It Take For A Hamster To Starve?

*NOTE
I am not planning to kill my hamster, this question is just out of curiousity.

I have to give up my gerbil. Is there a gerbil or rodent rescue place? I know there is one in Mass., but I live in southern CT and I cannot go all the way over there.

I love all of ‘em….But my dad wants the easiest one to take care of. And also, where is the best place i can find them in MA?

I have a baby hamster that is now 4 days old
Hold long will it take for hair to grow and for his eyes to open?
Also is there any other alternative other than the mother’s breast milk?
Can I use something else?

i want a small rabbit or a guinea pig but rabbits sound really hard to look after and really expensive so are guinea pigs any better?

He rolled around in chinchilla dust before. But now he just digs and eats in it. I have tried sprinkling it on his back when he is in it, but it does nothing..
