if you have ever taken your gerbil to a gerbil show and come out in a decent place like 3rd or so. what did you do to make your gerbil look like a show gerbil?

I think my roommate’s gerbil just had one. He sat there staring into space and was paddling his paws for several seconds. Before that he was sort of knocking his tail against his little home for several seconds, and then spastically running on his wheel. He’s resting now.

What does a female gerbil do when she is about to give birth? What signs and what actions? Does she stay in one corner of the cage? Does she start to squeke and chatter her teeth? I don’t know! ‘?’
