I’ve had a lot of pets in my years so I could be called really experienced. I am also really mature for my age. I was wondering which pet I should get: a Hamster, rat, guinea pig, rabbit, gerbil, or a small dog? Please help me. I have had some of these before and I just was considering another one. Please also list some facts and persuasion, pros and cons about the pets. Thanks!

I know gerbils are social creatures, and since I only have one gerbil at the moment, would it be beneficial/safe to let him run around for a bit with my guinea pigs?

Because I’ve seen hamster cages like this but smaller. Could I use it for dwarf hamsters? How many?

My son’s birthday is coming up and we wanted to get him a small animal (we’re getting a dog in the summer). He loves the hamster from the wonder pets but I heard hamsters are nasty little animals. Would a guinea pig, gerbil or hamster be best for my 5 year old? And can a guinea pig use a cage habitat that has a wheel?
