my dog is a hunting dog, and is very good at smelling (like any other dog), but I need some ideas of how I can keep my dog away from my new gerbil! I don’t want it to be eaten!

My hamster keeps chewing the bars on the cage and I don’t know what to do. I bought her wood chews but when I give it to her she just throws it to the corner and goes right back to chewing on the cage so what am I going to do?

petco

My gerbil has 2 other brothers the father just died 3-4 weeks ago. He lost alot of weight didnt move alot or eat and secreted the same pink stuff form both eyes. I have know idea of what it could be. If you can help me let me know right away by emailing me at nikeyfutbol@yahoo.com thank you!

Can Mites Move From A Gerbil To A Rat?

We just got two gerbils from Petco (bad, I know) and now our rats appear to have mites. Can mites move from gerbil to rat or vice versa?

I went in pets at home today and saw the cutest most hyper little gerbil! I really want one but after googling stuff people say they bought pets from there that died after a few days :S This little gerbil looks so lively and healthy though so i’m not sure!? Help :)

well my hamster has a metal cage and he chews on the bar like every single night and im worried that his bottom teeth will get crooked.

How Do I Keep My Gerbil From Keeping Me Up?

Now I know gerbils sleep off and on but they seem to waking up around ten and staying up for a few hours. i am in high school and start going to bed around 11. they are constantly thudding on that “silent” wheel they have. would my best bet be putting them in the laundry room overnight? or is there a better answer? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated =]

My hamster always runs behind furniture and begins to bite and scratch at the carpet in the corners. I can’t get to him without moving the whole piece of furniture so it’s a huge pain. He causes a lot of damage before I can get to him. Is there anything I can put in the corner that might repel him. I really don’t want to take away his free run time. I am a big advocate of letting hamsters have a supervised exploring time in a closed room. Hamsters are highly curious and can become bored easily with cage life. I just need somthing to keep him out of the corners without harming him. Is there any type of natural spray I could use? Thanks
