My male is always trying to mate with my female gerbil, but they are already mates. The male one, named Basil, is always jumping on the female, named Louise. She has lost a little fur on her back and I think it was Basil who did that. I need a tip ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my daughter is 8, i bought her a short haied female hamster. Then i thought it would be nice to see her have a companion.So, my daughter picked a long haired hamster. Then we put the new long haired hamster in with the short haired hamster,they were fighting. I would like to know why they fight,thank for all the help!

My female gerbil looks ready to mate, but the guy couldn’t care less, are they shy to do it in front of me, or is he gay?

also how do i tell the difference between male and femal mouse ?? i just got a mouse and a gerbil and cant tell them apart

I had two female gerbils (Motoko and Haruko), and unfortunately Haruko has passed away. Can I put a smaller and younger female gerbil with Motoko without her killing it? I know she gets lonely without the company of another gerbil, but I want to make sure I don’t hurt the new gerbil as well.
