do i have to change the water everyday?

yea well my dummy self put the heater on medium and put my hamster’s cage (with him in it) on top of the heater and the cage literaly melted. weird but he’s fine! but now i dont know were to put him now…its gonna be a week b4 i can get him a cage. does anyone have any ideas of were to he can live temporarly?

Well we already have several animals and they don’t really want anymore. I’ve offered to pay, but it’s not really working. I just love animals so much and so I want a hamster. They seem easy enough to care for and they are inexpensive. Also does anyone know if they smell? Please I am open to any suggestions that will possibly help me convince my parents to let me get one. Thanks!

I think my roommate’s gerbil just had one. He sat there staring into space and was paddling his paws for several seconds. Before that he was sort of knocking his tail against his little home for several seconds, and then spastically running on his wheel. He’s resting now.
