I live in Indiana, and I’ll be moving to Massachusetts. What would be the safest way to transport my hamster? I don’t want it to die…

My new hamster has just arrived home. I want to know the best way to get her to warm up to me so I can take her out of her cage and play with her.

I just moved in with my mom to an apartment, and am wanting to get a hamster. But I’m not sure which area would be go for the hamster to live. It can’t be in my mom’s room, the kitchen, the living room or in the bathroom. WHERE? ( You might want to read an article about hamsters before making your choice.

I have a Campbell’s dwarf hamster that has hurt one of his front legs. The vet has advised me to not feed him any of the usual seed mix that I give him, because he will have trouble grabbing them. She told me to feed him fruits and vegetables until he’s better.
Any recommendations from other dwarf hamster owners out there as to what fruits and vegies are best for him, or what your hamsters like the best?

I’m buying a Teddy Bear Hamster and I don’t know what brand is the best. Can you tell me what cage you use or heard what was good. I am kinda leaning towards buying a Habitrail. If any of you have a Habitrail please tell me and tell me if you like it or not.

I am thinking about getting a dwarf hamster. I had a friend in high school who kept her hamster in a glass aquarium. It seems that the most common kind are the cage style ones with bars. Do you think one or the other is better or does it not really matter? Any suggestions? Thanks!

My grandparents wont let me get a snake or anything like that. I want to get a turtle or something small to keep in my new room. I want something that I can take out and play with. I also want something that don’t cost a LOT of money. What should I get?
