as long as you have those exercise wheel in their cages, it will be just fine. Anyway, hamsters loves squeezing in between confined spaces and sleeps. Not a problem at all.
Make sure they don’t go hungry all the time and have their sand baths.
I’d get some extensions for each of those cages if you go with those. They’re pretty small and there’s not much room for them to play at all. I personally like using 20 gallon long aquariums. There’s much more room for toys and running around and burrowing. (It’s cheaper too.) Actually, you can get away with just using a 2 10 gallon tanks for the males and female since they’re dwarf hamsters. Aquariums offer a much better view of your pet, more running room, and they’re also easier to clean than those “fancy” hamster cages. Many also offer better ventalation, which is important. (You want your hammies to be able to breathe!)
hi
im sorry but thoses cages are way to small for hamsters as they have not enough room to run around! try these:http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js…http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js…http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js…http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js…http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js…http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js…
these cages will be sutible for your hamster
hope i helped
So those are about 60$ price wise, where as a ten gallon aquarium is about 10-11 dollars. That’s 20$ for two of them, plus they’re alot roomier, even if not well-ventilated. Plus you’d be able to see them better through the glass instead of all the plastic.
All in all, they’re probably barely big enough, but you got ripped off price-wise.
the cages are smaller sized, but then again, dwarf hamsters are small.
as long as you have enough room for toys and they’re able to explore, these cages should be fine. if you find they seem bored, i’d get get another cage for the males (a crittertrail) and attach it to their cage.
No offense, but you really need a bigger cage. Last weekend I made a bin cage for my hamster. It cost $25 and it has 5 square feet of space. Here’s a picture:http://www.guineapigcages.com/photos/sho…
It’s light, easy to clean, simple to make (go to http://www.ehow.com and search bin cage), and my hamster has so much fun with it. You should make one. Your hamster will love you for it.
They both are kind of on the small-side in my opinion because when hamsters were wild they would run for miles and miles with no limits..
I just like to give my animals the best I can..
Your dwarf hammies should be okay..
..even though aquariums aren’t very well ventilated, they are much roomier..
no they are not big enough try a hagen miki cage they are very well roomy and easy to clean and to play with your hamsters.
the females one is fine but i would reccomend a bigger one for the males as they can fight in contained and small spaces so bigger is better!
