I want a small pet, but I can’t get a Guinea Pig, and probably not a hamster or bunny. I want something cute and gentle. What are my choices?

Well, how old are you, and what kinds of pets have you had before, or own currently? Why can’t you get a Guinea Pig? Many people think rats or excellent pets, if acquired young and tamed. They are also pretty smart but they don’t live long. (A few years is the norm.)
Be sure to do your research before getting any kind of pet, and good luck!
Wanting is one thing – but are you deserving of one? Are you responsible enough to care for it properly? Are you sure that you will never forget to give it food and water every single day? You won’t have any problems cleaning its stinky, poopy cage when it needs it? It can be pretty upsetting coming home to a dead hamster because you forgot to give it water for a couple days.
hermit crabs- odd creatures, but they are pretty cool.
mice- always cute
rats-can be very cuddly and clean!
chinchillas- are really awesome!!!they are one of the softest creatures in the world, they like the cold though..otherwise i would have one
sugar gliders- are pretty, cute, soft, sweet..but u do have to feeed them live bug s and stuff…
parrots- hand raised can be very cuddly and are very smart! mostly love affection…depending on the species…but the can live for a long time too.
ferrets-sleek and funny great personalities and can be waked and a leash with a harness
small dogs- dogs ..just small lol
miniature pigs- pigs are extremely intelligent and clean dispite popular beliefe.
there are loads more…small cute cuddly animals…but i have to go..
hope u find a great one!
Probably not a hamster… is that the rules…

My son bought a European short haired dwarf hamster and he is like a little puppy… he uses a potty, lives in a lego house, and jumps through little hoops … he was twenty something dollars on sale at petco… but as a mom I totally approve… Plus he super cute
We got all the supplies … tank …. on freecycle for free of course
There is not much more out there… reptiles are not so cute and gentle (all the time) … a turtle isn’t much fun… fish you just look at… idk anything else…
You should get a russian dwarf hamster i’ve had 2 and they are really nice, fun to play with, and deffinetely gentle and very cute here is a picture of one fully grown.http://www.funnypictures.net.au/userimag…
i now it may sound weord but a rat, rats make great pets they are cuddly, love 2 play and VERY VERY smart and clean animals. also if u do end up getting a rat get 2 because they love friends and without one they could get depressed
Cats, ferrets (not what I call gentle but they are fun to have around), small dogs, birds (parrots are my favourite types), chickens and fish.
i think you should get a parrot.. you can teach them to talk and they can learn to be gentle and cuddle up to you if you train them well enough!
gerbil
very sweet
only need to be cleaned out every 3 months if you use soil
they like to build tunnels most of the day
will be better if you get two as wont get as lonely
mouse, fish, cat, small dog like a toy poodle, turtle, bird,
Get a hermit crab or a kitten.
How ’bout a rabbit?
cat cat cat kitten of hermit crab or mice or bird.. birds are boring..
