I Think My Gerbil Has Tyzzer’s Disease. Is There A Way To Help Her Without Taking Her To The Vet?

She’s cold and shivering and hardly moving and I don’t think she’s eaten for a while. What can I do?

Keep her warm and make sure she’s hydrated … try some warm milk? Maybe a bit of porridge? I’m sorry I really don’t know what to suggest apart from going to the vets x
Without taking her to a vet I don’t think there’s much you can do. You can try keeping her warm by putting a heating pad under the cage and you can try to get her to eat her food or feed her a supplement safe for gerbils with a syringe. I don’t know what else you could do. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help.

You realy shuld take her to the vet, but I can’t take my rats to the vet unless I can half-way diagnise them to see how bad it is, so you shuld place a heating pad under her and comfort her.
