Hello there i just bought a Dwarf hamster yesterday and it seems to e doing ok. Any tips for care?

i change the bedding whenever it starts to get too dirty and smells bad. but i need a good deodorizer too.

Once in awhile when I clean out my hamster cage.I noticed some of her bedding has blood on it. Do hamsters have periods? Or is this blood somthin different?
She is 7 months old.
