Can You Bring A Small Pet To Your Dorm Room?

I’m dorming this year at UCR and i wanted to know if they would allow you to have a small pet like a guinea pig.

No. At UCR, pets are not permitted in Residence Halls with the exception of fish in a aquarium that is 30 gallons or less.
It’s very unlikely that you can have a guinea pig. Dorms are usually way too small for pets like that, and some people may be allergic. In most cases, the only animal you can have is a fish.
Talk to either your RA or the student housing office if you need a list of approved pets.
Don’t know about your question, but I can tell you this much. Guinea pigs are not “small” pets. They require more attention than a dog and would take up more room then your bed. Goldfish are always aloud. Get some of them. Sorry if I come off as mean, but it just ticks me off when people suggest things that would be pure torture to any kind of animal.
