I am getting a new one SOON so I was cleaning the cage and other hamster things. I had decided to use bleach and hot water to clean the glass cage and accesories (food dish, water bottle, cage, and wire top). I soaked them in a bleach/water mixture then rinsed them one good time. I did not read till later that this could be really bad for my new hamster. What would be the best thing for me to do? I had a hamster die of wettail(RIP Loki).
